The same eyes as that day
“So you did it with a high school student…?”
“Kayo! Be quiet!”
I cover Kayo’s mouth as she grins in front of me with my hand.
How many times should I talk to Kayo at the same cafe?
It’s no wonder they would refuse entry to college students who say things like this every time.
“You did it at home without your parents and brother around and ended up with a high school boyfriend…?”
“….”
I’m left speechless by Kayo’s amused words.
It’s too terrible to put into words. The title sounds like something from an adult video and it’s making me scratch my head.
It’s been a week since that day. Togasaki-kun sends me LINE messages multiple times a day, but I just reply casually.
Every day when someone asks, “Can we meet today?” I decline by saying, “I have something to do, so I can’t.”
After a week of the same exchange, the guilt starts to grow.
Still, after what happened, I don’t know how to face him now.
“That’s cool, having a high school boyfriend sounds like fun.”
“It’s not my problem.”
“Let’s take it easy. Try going out once and if you don’t like it, you can just use your younger brother and break up.”
“Now that I know that he’s Kazuma’s friend, I can’t do something so horrible…”
“There you have it, Brocon. So if you don’t want your little brother to hate you, you’ll have to date him seriously.”

As he walks home after parting ways with Kayo, he sees a boy wearing the same uniform as Kazuma standing at a vending machine.
Feeling a sense of déjà vu, I pretended not to have heard the voice earlier.
As I tried to walk past him quickly, he grabbed my arm, startling me and making me stop in my tracks.
“Excuse me! Can I exchange it for a 500 yen coin?”
The boy’s forehead was sweaty and his cheeks were slightly red.
Even though it was June, it was a hot summer day, and I was sweating just walking home from the station.
Thinking that it would be a problem if I got heatstroke, I took my wallet out of my bag and checked the contents.
Unfortunately, there were only three 100 yen coins in it, but I thought it was just right and gave the boy 300 yen.
“Sorry, I don’t have any 500 yen coins so can you buy something you like with this?”
“But money…”
“It’s fine, don’t worry about it.”
“Then, can you give me your contact information so I can return it to you later?”
It looked like this was going to get troublesome again, so when I tried to mention Kazuma’s name, I felt a tap on my shoulder from behind.
Surprised, I turned around and saw Togasaki-kun standing there.
“Nao-san, are you tricking high school students again?”
“It was a misunderstanding! This child happened to be in trouble so I gave him the money.”
“When you see someone in trouble, you just go right to them.”
“Stop talking like that.”
After I explained the situation briefly, Togasaki-kun understood and agreed to lend me the money.
Since that was the case, I was no longer needed, so I quickly walked away without saying goodbye.
Unfortunately, we happened to meet by chance, and I wasn’t able to look him in the eye and talk to him properly.
My heart is pounding so loudly it feels like a bell is beating fast.
“Nao-san, wait, can I just go home?”
“No.”
He catches up with me and just follows me.
“I’ve always wanted to meet you.”
“No! My room is a mess.”
“I don’t care about that. I just want to be able to talk to Nao-san.”
“So we’re having a conversation right now! Is this okay?”
That may have sounded a little cold, but I really don’t want you to see my face right now.
Just a moment ago I was just sweating, but now sweat is pouring out from everywhere.
Earlier, when I caught a glimpse of Togasaki-kun, I accidentally found my eyes on his lips.
I can feel the heat rising in my face. My face is definitely red now.
After much arguing, the two of them ended up at the front door.
“Nao-san, please look at me.”
“…No, it is.”
“Please, just show me your face. Then I’ll go home.”
“…If you show your face, go home.”
Suppressing my embarrassment, I took a deep breath.
I made up my mind and looked up, and my eyes met Togasaki-kun’s.
I quickly tried to look away, but he grabbed my chin and forced me to look him in the eye.
I was so captivated by Togasaki-kun’s passionate gaze that I forgot to even blink.
“It’s Nao’s fault for inviting me with tears in her eyes.”
Before he could say anything, his lips were sealed.
He kisses me from different angles many times, just touching me.
The feeling of his soft lips almost makes me unable to think, but I remember that I’m outside and brace myself.
I desperately pushed back Togasaki-kun’s hard chest with both hands, and our lips finally parted.
Hold your breath while you’re being kissed, and as soon as their lips part, take in a sharp breath.
While I was panting and desperately forcing air into my lungs, Togasaki-kun looked at me with an amused look on his face.
“If you do something like this outside, the neighbors will start talking about you.”
“…Then go home!”
“I don’t really care. You can do something deeper.”
That’s what I care about!
If some indecent rumors were spread in the neighborhood and her mother or Kazuma found out, she wouldn’t be able to stay at home.
Desperately suppressing the urge to stomp on Togazaki-kun’s foot as he looks down at me with a mean look on his face, I take out my house key from my backpack.
Without giving up, he slowly inserted the key into the lock and turned it slowly.
Just before the lock opened, I glanced at Togasaki-kun and saw that his eyes were the same as those of a wild animal that day.
My whole body was telling me that this was bad, but it was too late. The door was quickly opened and the two of us were pushed inside the house.
