The End and the Beginning of the Two
“This concludes the matter, I guess!”
As King Regula let out a hearty laugh, the two knights standing before him gave him cold looks with straight faces.
In the throne room, Mitina and Kyelse had finished making up for their unauthorized absence and were reporting various things to King Regula.
Also present at the event was Rennet, as always, and Zeffen, who was there to watch over them. Mitina couldn’t help but feel sentimental, as it was in this very same setting that she had decided to get engaged to Kyelse and live with her.
“With all due respect, my lord. Could you please explain this secret mission to me?”
